On 15 and 16 May 2024 the National Conference of General and Provincial Treasurers of the CNEC dedicated in this its 53rd edition to the theme “Sustainability: an abstract concept or a possible practice?”. In this context, Magister had the pleasure of making his contribution with a workshop featuring the prof. Gabriele Torresan, professor of archives at the Institute of Theology of Consecrated Life “Claretianum” in Rome and the Dr. Franca Ridolfi, Accountant and auditor.
The mission becomes digital
"Magister Suite. Web applications: concrete and immediate help for the modern management of works": this is the title of the workshop which explored themes and solutions closely connected to the horizon at the center of the National Conference.
The prof. Torresan and Dr. Ridolfi have in fact shared their experience and their skills regarding the opportunity of professionalizing the mission of each congregation or the profitability of the assets of each order, for the implementation of a sustainable and resilient path within the works.
The technology in fact, as demonstrated by Magister's experience in the field, it's a great support which allows religious institutes to successfully face the challenges of modernity and sustainability.
The news from Martinus and Laurentius
The workshop was also an opportunity to present the two new software from the Magister suite.
Martinus is the Magister module that helps congregations and associations in management and loyalty of benefactors, in any capacity. It increases the visibility of projects and promotes their success, both by creating renewed awareness towards benefactors who are already customers, and above all by transforming the message inviting donations for new supporters more effectively.
Laurentius instead it is the software that can control it completely every aspect of managing a library and any loans. It is not limited to books only and can be usefully adopted for other multimedia archives.
It was a precious opportunity for discussion and exchange. Not only a moment of training for the religious, but also an opportunity for updating to acquire the necessary tools for modern management of the congregation.
